ATS Group Showcases Defense Innovations and Strategic Expansion at 2025 SHOT Show

ATS Group, a North Macedonian defense technology corporation, made a notable impact at the 2025 SHOT Show by unveiling its latest innovations and outlining ambitious expansion strategies. The company's presentation included an expanded product portfolio featuring manoeuvrable steel-core ammunition, advanced gunpowder blends, and composite ballistic textiles, marking its unique position as the sole European producer of such specialized materials.

With a workforce of 500 and a holistic approach to defense manufacturing, ATS Group is set to begin serial production of artillery ammunition in 2025 and is exploring the introduction of military drones. A significant €60 million investment has facilitated a technological overhaul of their facilities, integrating smart sensors and predictive maintenance systems to enhance efficiency and productivity.

The company's strategic growth includes the establishment of a new ammunition facility in Texas, USA, and the expansion of its global presence with a new office in London, alongside plans for additional manufacturing sites across Europe and other continents. Owner Shefshet Demirovski highlighted the company's ability to compete with industry giants, attributing success to high-demand products and investments in hybrid technologies.

ATS Group's production capabilities are impressive, with the ability to produce over 200 million small-caliber ammunition rounds and 15,000 large-caliber ammunition units annually, all meeting NATO, European Union, and United States standards. This expansion and innovation underscore ATS Group's rising prominence in the global defense sector, reflecting broader trends in military equipment manufacturing and technology.
