World Police Summit 2025 Introduces New Awards for AI and Startup Innovations in Policing

The World Police Summit Awards is set to introduce two new categories in its 2025 edition, focusing on the Best Use of Artificial Intelligence in Policing and the Startups Innovation Award. These additions underscore the increasing importance of technological advancements in enhancing law enforcement strategies worldwide. The event, scheduled from May 13 to 15, 2025, at the Dubai World Trade Centre, aims to honor outstanding achievements in the field, with a notable 55% increase in nominations this year.

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the summit will gather international law enforcement professionals, experts, and government officials. The inclusion of AI and startup categories reflects a commitment to fostering innovation and technological progress in policing. Captain Marwan Abdullah Al Mulla, Head of the World Police Summit Awards, highlighted the significance of these categories in promoting intelligent solutions for global security and community safety.

The awards process is stringent, with a jury of global academics in policing and law enforcement sciences overseeing the selection. Finalists in each category will be narrowed down to three, with one winner recognized for their contributions. Previous editions have celebrated achievements from countries around the world, and the 2025 awards continue this tradition of global collaboration and recognition in law enforcement innovation.
