Comcast has significantly enhanced the digital landscape of Paola and Hillsdale, Kansas, by extending its next-generation network to these areas. This strategic move connects more than 4,000 homes and businesses to reliable, high-speed, symmetrical Internet, marking a pivotal step in the region's digital transformation. The introduction of Xfinity and Comcast Business services to Paola and Hillsdale is expected to catalyze economic growth, empower local businesses, and improve residents' access to digital tools essential for modern living.

The expansion, underscored by a $38 million investment in technology and infrastructure over the past three years, was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Paola's Town Square. Comcast's commitment to the community was further demonstrated through a $2,500 donation to My Father's House, a nonprofit serving the rural underserved. Local officials, including Randi Shannon, City Manager of Paola, and April Damron, Executive Director of the Paola Chamber of Commerce, have lauded the project for its potential to bridge the digital divide and foster economic development.

Comcast's network promises multi-gigabit Internet speeds, 99.9 percent reliability, and comprehensive security features, offering residents and businesses in Paola and Hillsdale access to a full suite of Xfinity products. These include Internet, video, mobile, voice, and home security services, with Comcast Business providing tailored connectivity solutions for organizations of all sizes. Additionally, Comcast's Internet Essentials program aims to increase economic mobility by offering affordable high-speed Internet to eligible households, alongside plans to sponsor local events, reinforcing its integration into the community fabric.
